Jonathan Said

Director of Sector Practices Tony Blair Institute for Global Change

Jonathan is the Director of Sector Practices at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. In this role he oversees the strengthening of the institute’s work in areas such as centre of government and delivery, agriculture and food, industrialisation, energy and climate and human capital development. Jonathan used to be TBI’s Country Manager in Liberia. Before joining TBI he worked for Imani Development and the Government of Malawi in Malawi, and for the Government of Guyana as an ODI Fellow in Guyana as a private sector development economist. He started his career working for a business and economics consultancy in the United Kingdom. He read MSc Economics at the University of Warwick.
