With over 12 years of experience, Lilian has worked extensively with donor agencies, governments, and various agricultural stakeholders, including smallholder farmers, to unlock the potential of food markets in East Africa. She is currently the Senior Specialist Institutional Capacity Strengthening at AGRA & CALA
Her expertise lies in engaging governments on policy formulation and research, gender programming, inclusive finance, and brokering sustainable market linkages between smallholder farmers and large buyers. Lilian is a star when it comes to supervising agricultural projects, building capacity in agribusiness, mobilizing resources, and writing insightful opinion pieces.
Currently, she co-chairs the Agriculture Development Partners Group in Uganda, advises on the Economic Enterprise Restart Fund (EERF) by Stanbic Bank Uganda, and represents development partners on Uganda’s National Food Systems Coordinating Committee. d have completed various executive programs.
