Thierry Ngoga
Head, Support to State Capacity, AGRA
Thierry is the Head of State Capability for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), where he leads a team that works alongside governments across 11 African countries to enhance their capability to deliver their agricultural development goals. His work focuses on supporting governments to prioritise their agricultural investments; build agricultural governance systems, strategic and institutional delivery mechanisms; as well as policy development. Thierry’s work includes leading the department responsible for the Centre for African Leaders in Agriculture (CALA) where he provides thought leadership to the Centre.
Thierry has over 16 years experience providing leadership on strategic and operational solutions to governments and development partners, spearheading reforms in agriculture, land management, and rural/urban agricultural development. His extensive experience on a global, regional and national level, spans over 18 countries in both Anglophone and Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa.
